What kind of world is this?

I continually ask myself this question

Another person has died

Because others refused to help

When will we see?

Are we that blind?

We claim to be religious or spiritual

Yet we cannot see another's pain

That they end up taking their life to escape

Please instill in me and others

A heart that sees the pain of others

That desires to help others

Please give us eyes that see

And hearts that feel
